Pair of women's shoes, about 1700-60. Uppers covered with cream and pink floral brocaded satin. Heels covered in similar but different brocade, suggesting that the shoe has been re-covered. Pointed toes, with flaps across front of vamp. Wide curved heel. Topline and edge of flaps bound by red ribbon. Worn by a member of the Tyson family, Meirionnydd (Meirioneth).
